Plan folders

This design is used for large, flat items, such as artworks and posters. We use our 300 GSM card to create these folders; the lightweight but robust material means that your items are protected against agents of deterioration without adding excess bulk.

The design includes wings to prevent items from slipping out, and a gummed Tyvek tape hinge, which does not remain sticky when dry, so it will not adhere to your objects.

Our plan folders do not come with stiffener layers except by request. Please include in the notes if you require an additional layer in the base made from Conservation by Design's flute board, glued in with EVA. This added strength makes this folder ideal for holding a greater number of flat plans and reduces bowing of the folder on transport.

Four flap folders

The four-flap design is ideal for thin items like letters or small bundles of documents to separate them in a larger archive box. We use our 300 GSM card to create these folders - the lightweight but robust material means that your items are protected against agents of deterioration without adding excess bulk.

This design includes no closure mechanism, only the full-length sides to minimise the space and prevent uneven stress on neighbouring material.

Four-flaps are supplied flat packed.
