How to order our boxes

Archival box making service

To order you will need to download a copy of our ordering Excel spreadsheet. You will only be able to edit certain sections of the spreadsheet, marked with lighter blue headings, but you will be able to directly type in or copy and paste from a working document you already have.

Ask for an order form by emailing us at TLAboxorders@cityoflondon.gov.uk


Please make sure to fill in all of these sections:

  • Company name, choose flat pack or assembled
  • Box style
  • Your measurements (and the quantity required if greater than one)

If you need labels, please include the content if different from the reference, and the location of the labels in the notes

Please add any notes you think will be useful for the production team. For example, if you need a side of your box to fold down or if you want a full lid or half depth.

A size category will automatically be applied to your item and a unit price is generated. You will also be able to see an overall estimated price at the top of the worksheet. This price will be reconfirmed with you via email and will include a quote for delivery.

Please make sure to read our how to measure instructions and double check your style choices, measurements and references before sending your spreadsheet back to us. We will make your box to the exact size that you specify, with no compensation.

You will need to create an account to use our ordering system. This is to allow you to store your customer details in a secure way and streamlines repeat orders. Once you have placed an order, you will be able to track its status from the Requests section of your account, and you will receive updates by email.
