Who is a Londoner? Learning session
What can the records held at The London Archives reveal about the diverse lives of the people of London?
This session is a great opportunity for KS3 students to work with one of the largest archival collections of London’s history. The session will focus on developing and honing historical enquiry skills, by asking students to focus on five different people from our twentieth century collections, and consider what archival material reveals about the rich mosaic of life in the capital and the diversity of its people.
Students will consider how the way in which archival material is selected for preservation can influence whose stories we have told in the past and those we might tell in the future.
