Book Group: Agatha Christie – At Bertram’s Hotel
Literary Event
In this late Agatha Christie novel from 1965, Miss Marple has a holiday to London where she stays at Bertram’s Hotel, a comfortable, Edwardian-style hotel. While our amateur detective is meant to be having two weeks rest and relaxation, she cannot help but be captivated by a hotel full of curious characters, including a guest who goes missing. When the police start to find links between the hotel and a recent train robbery, Marple offers up her detective skills.

The London Archives Book Group, an online discussion group, meets monthly and welcomes all even if you haven’t read the book - although spoilers may arise. Each session includes a presentation of original archive material to enrich the discussion.
