Visiting by Public Transport

The nearest Tube and train stations are:

  • Farringdon (National Rail, Circle, Metropolitan, Elizabeth, Hammersmith and City) 10 minute walk
  • Angel (Northern) 12 minute walk
  • Kings Cross / St Pancras (National Rail, Overground, Circle, Hammersmith and City, Metropolitan, Northern, Piccadilly, Victoria) 15 minute walk
  • Chancery Lane (Central) 20 minute walk

Bus Routes:

The London Archives is easily accessed by bus.

Transport for London shows all the nearest bus stops and the routes that serve them

Visiting by Bike:

Bikes can be parked in our car park where bike racks are available to use. Bike locks are available to borrow on request.

Cycling helmets and clothing can be stored in the lockers available in the Visitors Lounge. There are no showers on-site at The London Archives.
