Group Visits and Tours

We offer tours of the archive for individuals and groups

Individuals

Individuals can book a place on to one of our paid building tours via our ‘What’s On’ page.

Private Groups

Guided tours of our Archives are limited to 15 people. These tours last about one hour and include a tour of our public rooms as well as a ‘behind the scenes’ tour of our archive repositories and viewing of several pre-selected Archive documents.

These are changed at £10 per head (minimum of 5 people)

Please note these tours are provided for free for Community Groups, Charities, Genealogical and Historical Societies.

These visits must be booked in advance by emailing tla.learning@cityoflondon.gov.uk

Please note that access to some of our strongrooms is via steps. Please do let us know at the time of booking of any access needs.

Community Projects

The London Archives is working with several project partners to deliver community archive projects and you can find out more about the current projects we are working with on our partners websites.

For public events relating to our partnership work please see our ‘What’s On’ page.
